David offers care for anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, grief and loss, parenting challenges, and family relationship issues. His clinical work is grounded in Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness practices, offering clients a holistic lens through which to identify and work through barriers to living a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

David is a graduate of The Catholic University of America and Union Presbyterian Seminary, and completed advanced post-graduate training through the Washington School of Psychiatry’s Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Program.

His career began in youth leadership—as Program Director at an overnight summer camp and later as Assistant Director of Youth Ministry in Raleigh, NC, where he worked with over 500 middle and high school students. He has directed youth service projects across the United States, as well as in Russia and Northern Ireland.

In Washington, D.C., David has worked extensively with at-risk and underserved youth, including positions at Sasha Bruce YouthBuild and The McClendon Center, where he facilitated groups for young adults using the Men’s Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model (M-TREM). He also served as a substance abuse therapist at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington.

David brings decades of experience, a deep respect for each client’s unique story, and a commitment to fostering spaces where healing, growth, and self-discovery can unfold.
